Does any one have practicle knowledge involving the use of this manafacturer of the YS. I purchased a brand new one from Mullin's Jeep parts in College Station, Texas and am considering outting on my M38 to replace the old Carter WO that is currently on the engine. I can find no reference to the company's exhistance in Colombus, Gorgia where it is indicated these carburaters were manufactured.

It may be one of the YS637 knockoffs Brent was selling. A year or more ago he made full disclosure he could not get them to operate properly. There is more than one thread here regarding these carbs (if in fact this is the same carb). Bill (capescw) documented his research and fixes on one he successfully got to work. I think I can find the link..

here it is.
