Hi Folks,
I recently found on Ebay a heater for my Kaiser M606A3 jeep. The heater is the same as the civilian CJ5 model, that has a square port to attach heater core housing on the left side of engine's firewall . I guess most of you CJ5 fans know what I mean.
Now questions: (1)scheme of hose connections from engine block (inlet and outlet to/from the heater/engine block fittings?; (2)does the installation need the short heater by-pass hose? (3) if so, will the hot water flow permanently through the heater core? (4)does anyone have a picture of the decal of this heater model made by Harrison?
Thanks, nice regards!

Plumb a shutoff valve in the right rear of the head for one heater hose and plumb the other heater hose to the extra threaded port on the upper right side of the water pump housing. Leave the original small 90 degree bypass hose alone.
In this photo the heater has the hoses disconnected and a single hose is connected to the water pump's top right port and the shutoff valve in the right rear corner of the head. _________________ Wes K

For some reason that I don't know, the picture appeared on my screen.
Just an extra question: leaving the 90 degree degree bypass hose alone means removing it ok keeping it?
Thanks
Claudio
Leave it in place on the engine. It's function is still needed and remains the same, "Assist with a faster warmup of the coolant". _________________ Wes K
