Scar,
I know this is not much, so I will remember to take some more photos the next time I am around an M38A1.
Here is a dash photo. I am sure others can give you more info. If I remember correctly, there is a windshield photo in the parts manual too.

thanks ryan, that does help. i posted on the teck forum also, so forgive me i wait for the cd and see what info it has. was wanting to see the diff in wiper moters as i don`t know the diff. thanks. _________________ keep on jeepin |

You can take a solution of copper sulfate and apply it with gloves and a brush. It will allow a thin coat of copper to be plated to the metal.
I found it at a stained glass shop as my wife works a lot with stained glass and they sometimes use it to apply a coat of copper plating to the lead seams to make the color a copper color. _________________ Ryan Miller
