I need an M38/A1 wheel. Have to trade a CJ-2A 4.5"x16" Motor wheel. It has rust pitting on the inside. Will clean up to be a good serviceable wheel.

Just curious of the verbiage or the term 'motor wheel'? What does that mean or the background?

Motor Wheel was one of the wheel manufacturers used by Willys. The 16 x 4.5" CJ2A wheel was similar to the M38/M38A1 Kelsey wheel but had no safety bead and had no 1/8" hole next to one of the lug holes. This wheel was issued for spares by Willys to the government in lieu of the military Kelsey Hayes wheel in the mid to late 50's.
