I found this article on the Internet today while looking for Sparton horn information.

It sounds like the rumors and speculation as to the origins of the Roadrunner horn have been true all along!

Anyway, great story on how Chrysler developed the Roadrunner.

The horn story is under the photo of the Bronze 1971 440 Six Pac about
1/3 of the way down.
