just wondering if anyone has documented wire lengths for an a1 harness. My jeep had Mickey Mouses' finest wire nut harness installed which I immediately ripped out. I have most of the end components so I would like to build a new one. Thanks in advance, Jon

I find that when building a new harness it is a better idea to use the jeep as your loom and the wiring diagrams as your reference point. It's great to have someone be helpfull enough to give you his measurements but remember that there is no guarantee that his routing from his jeep was correct or will be the same as yours. Just layout and run all your wires first leaving a bit of extra at each end. At about every ten inches you throw a small wire tie around the bundle to keep them together. Then map out your terminations, add the fittings, hook them up and then when it all works well go back a wrap the bundles.

Jon,

I mapped-out the wiring harness I got from Vintage Wiring of Maine for my M38A1. I don't have the ignition and fuel quantity harness, but I have everything for the lights. Let me know what your e-mail address is, and I'll send you the measurements.
