So the serial number is MD83103.

So I have an engine block, It's an M38A1 block, with at serial number of

806279-W-12-D AR CY CR

What more does that info tell me?

I have a running L-134 in my 52 M38A1. I'm considering replacing it with an F-134.

The engine smokes a lot, burns oil and has coolant leaking into the oil.

What would you estimate the cost of a overhaul of a F-134 engine? Low to high.

Is the block from a 58 CJ6 the same as the block (interchangable) with the block for a 52 M38A1?
