This is a European reproduction of the Ramsey model 50R winch. It is exactly like an original Ramsey 50R in every respect except for the Ramsey name cast into the housing is obviously not there. Original ramsey 50R blueprints were used to create this reproduction. If you have been looking for years and as hard as I have for an original authentic Ramsey 50R winch, with no luck (as I have) this is the next best thing. I have a second unit exactly like it on my M38, it fits perfectly into the winch frame. Output shaft turns freely and all internal gears seem to be in good condition. A good cleaning and this winch will be as good as new.

please indicate how much or where we can buy them in Europe, I have some contacts over there and may be we can make a mass buy, because I think a lot of people want one!

I dont think these winches are curently being produced in Europe. I think Dan just ran acrtoss a couple that had been made there sometime in the past. He had one listed on Ebay awhile ago but I dont know if it sold. I think he wanted more than $1500 US for it. You would still need the PTO the shafts, the hanger bearing and a fairlead.

Hey guys check the G .. You can get in for some reproduced Ramsey completed setups for 6 grand.
