Don that is the recessed slave cable receptacle on the right side of the cowl.

I am not sure why the double angle in this illustartion doesn't match the doublers shown in the kit below.

Complete field conversion kit.

Thanks Wes for the info and now have to find a spare tire mounting bracket as I have the two channels in the lower picture. If someone has the measurements of the bracket, I could fabricate same.

If someone can provide me a set of photos of the bracket as removed. Full views of front, sides, rear, top and bottom looking straight at the bracket in each view and then a couple of angled full views I can put together a drawing layout and then post it so they can fill in the dimensions.

Wes
I have one here on the floor in my office, if you were to show up here my Bride would give it to you thinking she was cleaning my office.....so lets not go that route.
If some one would pay the shipping I could send Wes my mount to copy. BUT I NEED IT BACK!!!

Frank,

Let me know what the shipping would and I will pay it to get it to Wes and back to you. I have been trying to find one for my M38A1C, let me know if you know where one is for sale. I may end up having to fabricate one if wes can get the measurements.
Thanks,
Don in Auburn, Ca

Don
I will e-mail the guy I got mine from. I know he still has one, but I think he was keeping it for himself. He does make some parts for the M38A1C, I will also ask him if he would mine if I passed his name onto you. He might be able to make the mount.
Take care.
