Wes,

I purchased a set of new manufacture top bows for my M38. I fabricated the support rods that are supposed to go from the windshield to the front bow to keep the top from sagging. My question is, the bows I bought dont have a hole in them to put the rod into. Do you have any measurements for the placement of this hole and also if the hole is supposed to go all the way throught the bow or just on the outer side. I have seen original bows with only one hole with the rod kept into the bow with a clip that goes through a 1/8 hole in the bow and rod.

Can you help?

Thanks,

Ken

Ken,
Wait until you have fitted the entire top and doors then match the top horizontal and aft vertical rods to the door frame. You can hold the two rids in a temporary position with wire or duct tape.
