|
|
I am working on my passenger side fender right now and want to re-stud, if you will, the studs the previous owner ground off that anchor the under the hood battery box to the fender. Can someone give me a measurement of the length they protrude from the fender face? Also the size and tread.
Thanks,
Brett

Well, found what I was looking for not longer after posting this. Figures. Re-looked at the ORD-9 again and found it. 5/16 18NC X 3/4. Page 169. I'll leave this post up. _________________ Brett

Good thing you realized there were supposed to be studs there on the fender before you painted it.
For me I did not know there were supposed to be studs for the box anchors straps. They had been cut off and I didn't see where they had been. So I finished the fender without them. Now I have box that isn't anchored because I didn't want to back and mess up the paint job. _________________ Tropical Veteran

When I feel like being energetic again I'll take the fender off and do that fix. _________________ Tropical Veteran
