If anybody has a photo of the driven end of the inner cable, could you please post it here so I can compare to the replacement inner cable I have. . .

I have broken the end off my inner cable and I have a replacement inner cable I ordered from a vendor, but I am not sure it is really the correct one.

I have taken just the end and attempted to see if it fits. It seems to sort of fall into place, but I am not sure it is actually doing so, and am a little concerned it doesn't seem to go in as far as I think it ought to.

If it is not going in all the way, I wonder if the old tip is still in there. . . I have tried using a magnet to fish out anything in there, but no luck. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
