3rd Annual Bristow MV Rally, Bristow Oklahoma, August 11 & 12 2006. Located at the Bristow Jones Memorial airport, southwest of city. Move in day is Thursday evening & Friday morning. Swap meet and vehicle activities will be Friday and Saturday, aircraft static displays on Saturday. Event is free to everyone, no charge for vendor spaces,no charge for vehicle entry, no admission for the public. We have a "T" hangar, which is 50'x200', and all the open grounds around it for the swap meet. There is an open field across the runway that is about 350 to 400 acres to operate your vehicle(s) on. This is not your average "park & show" event you can get in you vehicle and drive around anytime you wish. We would really like to increase the vehicle count this year as well as increase the size of the swap meet. Any vehicle over 1 ton will be given a gas allowance. This was a very successful event last year and we're looking to make it bigger this year! I will be updating this thread as info comes available, also look for a Tulsa Military Vehicle Group website in the near future, TMVG.org , for more information.

The TMVG website is up and running. We'll be updating it regularly with photo's and info. The Bristow MV Rally is shaping up to be bigger and better than last year so mark your calendars and plan to attend.

Here's an update on the Bristow Rally... The Great Bend Kansas reenactor group has commited to be there to do a mock battle and give some weapons demo's and display WWII equipment. We are looking into getting the ADT to do a parachute drop. We are also trying to locate some heavy armoured vehicles to attend, there will be a fuel allowance for anything bigger than a jeep. If you need transportation for a tank, we are talking to two trucking companies to help out. We are tring to make this event the largest in this part of the country and we have the city of Bristow behind us. The swap meet is shaping up to be huge, there is no charge for vendor space but it is first come first served under the "t" hangar. Tables should be available for a rental fee. Please let us know if you are coming and need tables. There is room for camping and electric hookups for motor homes. Thursday evening thru Saturday morning is move in time, Sunday move out day. Again we have the large area adjacent to the runway for vehicle operations. Check out the TMVG website for updates www.TMVG.org
