The Jeep I am working on had the front cross member replaced with angle iron. I have replace that with the tube cross member salvaged from another jeep and have the bell crank welded in.

I cannot find any specs on the radiator tabs. If someone has handy the measurements on the tabs I would appreciate it if you would send those on to me. My thought is to weld them on now and drill the holes once I am mounting the radiator.

If you can give me the width of the tap, distance from the inside of the frame to the center of the tab, how far it protrudes from the frame, length on the tab welded to the cross member and such. Open to suggestions on this too.

Any picture you may send would be useful.

Many thanks, John

Hi John,
Forgive the rust and dirt.

Let me know if you need add'l views. Neither tab is identical to the other.
The only thing the same is they are 2" wide bar. The left tab is approx 3-3/4" long, and the right tab is approx 4-1/16" long. Keep in mind these dims are in a straight plane and the tabs have a radius on the front to match the crossmember.

This is the right tab viewed from the front.

Left tab is 1-3/8" from the left inside frame member to the edge of the bar, including rust.

Right tab is 8-9/16-8-5/8" from the right inside frame member to the edge of the bar, including rust.

Hope this helps.
Brian
