After going into my left front wheel to replace a leaking wheel cylinder, I opened up a can of worms, now replacing spindle and bushing, brake shoes, and wheel bearings, I also discovered the closed knuckle had no lubricant. That search for the proper lube led me dozens and dozens of posts across all forums I could find. Bottom line a whole lots of different views, but a you tube video put me on Torqueking.com who sells a lubricant that can be put into a caulking gun it comes in 11oz tubes and sells for $8. So I ordered two tubes to check it out. I hope this makes someone else life easier when looking for knuckle lubricant.

Torqueking site shows several lubricants that fit a grease/caulking gun.....which one did you pick?
Not to open the debate again, but John Deere Cornhead Grease is a few bucks cheaper.
Did you get the Dualmatic hub parts source that I posted for you? _________________ Ron D.

I got the one labeled Closed Knuckle Lubricant that is on sale for $8. If I had not found this product, I would have probably went with the John Deere product which is several dollars cheaper. Because the star washers had ate into the metal on the lock out hub and reading how wheels are hard to remove when you use the bend over tab type, I went with the Grade 8 lock washers I had laying around the shop. That’s as far as I am going right now with the lock out hubs, but I saved the info in my database for future reference.
