I am throwing around the idea of making my own cables instead of buying from one of the parts places. Has anyone made their own, and if so I have some questions.
I see the cables are made with 2 gauge wire, correct me if I'm wrong. Did you buy the cable by the foot from your local parts store? How about the ends of the cables like the picture below? What size are the holes in those ends that attach to the terminal lugs?
I see the cables are 18", 30" and 16" long, does that include those end pieces, or is that just the wire length?

Aaron,
Check the Ord9-G740 parts list. It probably has the terminals
described.

Otherwise think about where the terminals go. One goes on the
starter. Measure the bolt where it fastens. Get a terminal that
will fit.

A couple of the cables also connect to the batteries. Note the
correct terminals in the manual.

Take care,
