Guys give me your best guess on the labor time to remove rebuild and re-install a trans and transfer case on a 46 cj2a . Thanks Warren

Warren,

Depending on what all needed to be done on the inside of the transfer case, I would say it is more than a weekends worth of work.

Got any pictures of the CJ?

Ryan is right. I've read a rebuild site that once quoted a day start to finish. I imagine they were set up for it though. It all depends on your mechanical ability, parts availability, and Murphy's Law.

With transfer case..took me by myself and a few jacks two days..thats a Saturday and Sunday..next time going to someone with a lift..
