Been searching forever in vain to find that illusive Ramsey model 50 or 50R winch for your M38? Me too!! However, I think I have found the next best thing until the real thing comes along. I recently found two European (Italian?) manufactured reproduction Ramsey model 50R winches. For all practical purposes they are identical to the original (same dimensions, mounting holes, etc.). To get one, I had to buy them both. I put one on my M38, and it looks great, now I am offering the other to someone else in the M38 world. I currently have it for sale on eBay. Check it out! Don’t miss this opportunity.
