I am slowly making progress on my M-38A1... I have the rolling frame outside while the tub is in the garage waiting to finish up the welding repairs prior to the sandblaster.

I am going thru and finding things I started and did not finish. Running fuel lines and brake lines mostly. Have added fluids to the transmission and transfer case. Have finally gotten the oil pressure sender mounted. Now to wait for the few parts to finish the fame up with.

Over the next few weeks I will finish the welding up and patching the bubba holes made in the tub. I have the windshield done save for the glass. I have the dash completed ready to bolt on.

It will take a little bit of time to finish up as the temps have been in the high 90's and heat index over 100. Looking forward to the cooler weather to finish up.

Hal,

Your Jeep looks great. I can appreciate the amount of work you put in.

Looks great, but I'd paint the blue and red...brings too much attentions to.

Have been working on the Body, filling the Bubba holes... Also replacing bad (rusted out) weld nuts... Still have to do the ones for the driver's side of the windshield...

The floors, hat channels and rear tailgate were done last summer thru winter...

Well tub is about ready for paint, spent the day with bondo filling in minor pinholes and smoothing welds out. Going to try to get paint on it tomorrow before the weather here in OKC goes down the tubes this weekend...

Well I am down to the wiring and Fuel... Need to finish the Blackout Drive lamp and horn there, also add the fuel tank wires.

Fuel tank is original and took it to the local radiator shop for a hot bath and lining, should have it back next week. Then mount the sender and filter / pick up. Paint it and install...

Fenders and all are now on the jeep. These photos were taken about 6 weeks ago before the weather started to get cold...

Will need to put driver's seat in and then we are ready to go...
