Should the inside of the bellhousing get painted? I'd say it was not originally based on mine. Thanks

Cute. Laughing Is there any benefit? Could the paint flake in time and cause problems?

Jeeps leak oil. You could argue that they aren't supposed to but they do anyway, from a number of places - including the rear crankshaft seal. The inside of the bellhousing tends to be an oily place. At least mine was when I installed a new clutch on my M38, there was no corrosion. Paint if you wish, or not, it won't make any difference in the operation or longevity of your Jeep.
