Wes, How does the fact that the m151 rotates opposite from the M38a1
affect the installation on my 55 M38A1 my module has 3 wires red green and black, I believe your drawing shows 4 wires, my kit uses the swiss type rotor Gene
There are quite a few folks using the later M151 Pointless equipment with no problems. I see no reason to be concerned with rotation direction. The system functions when the rotor trips the hall effect signal irregardless of rotation. The Swiss controls rotor has windows that have to have adjustments made when reversing rotation.
The Prestolite (lt) has 2 wires and the Swiss (Rt) has 3 wires.
Again the Swiss has 3 wires. Where did you see a photo of 4 wires?
Erik Maes did a very detailed write-up on the Swis controls use on the Willys 134 engines.

I only made a small 'cut out' in the distributiorhousing, no changes at the rotor however. The distributor in the m38 turns counterclock, in the m151 clockwise, as i read in prevouis posts on the M151 forums. Therefore I had to realign the sensor/solidstate unit 45 degrees to use the exact gap in the rotor to fire the exact moment.
