I tried to adjust my carburettor correctly today.
I gently drove in the mixture screw into the seat and then backed it off 1.5 turns. Loosening the idle rpm screw was not possible because the engine would die off.
From wer I played with the Mixture Screw both directions with no reaction by the engine, even when I drove in the mixture screw into the seat.
Is this normal?
What is your approach adjustingThe Carter YS ?
I appreciate your advice and support.
Thank you

The mixture screw result is a common occurrence when you have an induction system (Vacuum) leak elsewhere in the induction system. Do a propane test looking for a rise in RPM when the propane is sucked into the leak. _________________ Wes K
