Another trinket that came with my "box of jeep bits" when I bought the M38:

It's an internal/external tooth lock washer that appears to fit either side of an 1/8" thick plate, and I have three of these in my inventory. They appear to suit a 5/16" bolt.

Couldn't find them in the ORD 9; of course, it would help if I knew what they were called. Rolling Eyes It's possible that they're not off the M38, but they look to be of a similar age and "Jeepness" as the other parts that I know came off the jeep. And there were traces of strata blue on them.

Anybody know where they are for? Confused

Thanks in advance,
Owen.

I've seen the internal/external tooth washers used on radio or electrical mounting. I think it bites through painted surfaces providing a grounding connection better than other lockwashers but I've never seen the "double" type.
