Anyone have photos of their wiper motors installed? I am finishing my windshield up and I am wondering what type of hosing everyone has used for the supply of their vacuum system. Then I want to try and get the new tubing running in all the right places, above, below, behind, etc. The original windshield I found for mine still had the metal tubing but the rubber was rotted away. Does anyone have decent usable photos of the original configuration (the b/w photos in the manual are so distorted its useless.) Thanks in advance.

The hose used is not 1/4" to match the tubing size. It is 7/32" ID and has a very thin wall (3/32"). You can still buy this hose across the counter. The hose in the photos above is too heavy.

On a (sort of) related subject: can someone provide the length of
the (2) tubes running between the wiper motors on the M-38 with
bottom mounted (std) wiper set-up?

M38 ORD 9 Page 334 for the two tubes WO# 673564 24 1/4". All but one of those tubes has their dimensions listed there and on the next page.

M38 ORD 9 ref was for Rick.

The M38A1 ORD 9 for some reason does not spec tubing lengths. Also the A1 ORD 9 assumes you have a mid 53 or newer A1 since it does not show the dual tube arrangement for the fording equipped early A1's.

I needed the diameters on the tubing. The tubing I found was so thick that it wouldn't all fit at the Y junction. Thanks again!
