Here's the handy work of RickG on my M38. A while back I acquired a 2A hood and cut out the scripts sections and used the hood on my rig.
Rick had a few ideas to do something with the script pieces so I sent them up his way and this is what I got back.
Thumbs up!
What do you think of that location Rick?

Rick, I just took a look at your photo page. I am certain you will agree on the location. I do recall now from back when we were discussing this that this would be a good location.
Wes
Thanks, I had noticed that also with the bolts. For the 4 plate screws, the bottoms ones will be fine and the tops actually clear the tank but are close for concern. I am going to trim them and/or find some sort of rubber fastener like a well nut that will add some safety there. The bolts that go thru the bottom of the tank mount itself are safe. The tank has a about a 1/2 void underneath and the bolts are put in with the head up so there isn't much sticking up anyway. _________________ Brett

Sweet!! The only difference in our mounts is that i bumped mine
1/2" aft of the jerry can holder to allow strap access and welded it
to the holder instead of bolts.. _________________ keep 'em rollin'

The pic doesn't look like it, but mine is also away from the mount to allow room for the strap. _________________ Brett

Those who know me well know that i value and cherish my
"flesh and blood" mules above all else. I've added the "OD MULE"
to the mule corral.. _________________ keep 'em rollin'
