$560 was good price IMO! The forward facing PTO are very hard to find and are probably worth almost that by themselves. The U-joints cost WELL over $100 each. Ask me how I know! Plus everything is rebuilt (so he says) and includes all the little stuff such as the grade 8 bolts, dash decal, knobs, etc.
Does anyone know anything about the cast fairlead shown in the auction? I have one like it but I've never been able to find out when they were made or anything else about them. I've seen lots of Ramsey winches but they all had fairleads that were stamped out of steel plate.[/u] |

Early armored vehicle is the source of the narrow 50 model winch with the cast fairlead. I don't recall the M # but it has been brought up at least three times in the past here and on the G503 and I have seen photos of the front of the unit with the flush mounted winch.
Had that been a regular width 50 or 50R with 105 PTO it would have drawn at least $2000. _________________ Wes K

looks like a ramsey 200 to me. The cast fairlead was stock equipment for that winch. Fairly common cj/truck winch. |
