Ok here goes my lame question for the month.
On my new NDCC tires, they say pressure as follows on the sidewall:
"Max. single load 1800 lbs at 45 PSI COLD"
"Max. dual load 1580 lbs at 45 PSI COLD"
So does that mean I use that PSI or should I run them around 25-30?
I know there is no where near 1800 lbs on each tire so I would think 45 PSI is overkill and would make it ride on the crown or middle of the tire.
All my driving will be surface roads, dry road driving.

if the tires are supposed to imitate the original tires, then I think you'd be safe to follow the pressures on your data plates. my plates say " highway= 28 psi, cross country=22 psi, and mud, sand or snow=15 psi." hope that helps _________________ Frank 1952 M38 Cdn CAR 52-31812,1952 M38 Cdn F100005, 1967 Jeepster, 1999 XJ, 1999 TJ " rubiCLONE"

Yeah, those are the max loads the tire is rated for at the max psi of 45. I run 25 personally - still fairly soft ride and no trouble steering. _________________ Matt
