I just removed a decent harness that had been cobbled into an M38. I had assumed it was originally for an M38A1 but it had different #40 wires and someone had snipped off a loomed wire from the dash area and taped it over. It turns out this was actually an NOS M170 main lighting harness and that the wire cut wire had been #39A going to the reel trouble light.
I want to resurrect it but can someone tell me how long this #39A wire was: did it go all the way to the trouble light? How long was it? Was it loom-covered all the way? ..... Brian
