Depends on the source of the rebuilt units.

I think I'll paint mine semi gloss, just thinking they would have been repainted with the USMC Green at time of rebuild.

Don't know for sure, but I like the look of it. I'm sure Olive Drab from the factory, but thinking a rebuild would be semi-gloss at a USMC depot rebuild. My dad's in Vietnam was a later 60's, so I'll go semi-gloss

The factory OD 2430 was semi-gloss as well not drab or flat.

The rebuilds were Forest Green, but with years of crud buildup, I could not tell semi gloss or lusterless FG. Thanks or the answer. The frame will be 2430, or at least 23070.
