A couple things to check before throwing parts and money at it.
Check point gap and condenser.
Check your spark plugs after it stalls, plug wet probably a spark issue, plug dry probably a fuel issue ...

Have you checked for vacuum leaks?
The other thing to have checked would be the ingnition timing.
I've seen either of these cause a stammer on hard acceleration.
