If the metal is bare, sand with 220 wet (lightliy), and apply 2 or 3 coats of self etching primer.

Got it done...

In case it helps, here's the details.

- Pump and carb fitting connections - 1/8"

- Used 1/8" to 1/4" adapters (reducer), flared in 1/4" side

Question.... I have retouched the paint for the Regulator base and cover with flat black.

I plan on coating with clear, but is the clear coat flat or gloss?
