Is the shift lever binding on sompthing?. remove the shift linkage and try it by shifting it at the od. I had to play with my linkage to get full travel in bolth directions.

Guys if you are near a caterpillar dealer you can buy 24V bulbs there cheaper than napa. Been a while but last time I purchased bulbs Cat was half the price of NAPA
