I had stencils cut at a local print shop and was very cheap and made in the matter of minutes. I made the layout in PDF and told them the sizes needed and they cut them on their system. |

Wes is correct, put the transmission in neutral, and remove the cover. The forks will come out as part of the cover assembly. |

If you are talking about the rods that go from the windshield to the top bow supports, drill a small hole on the inside of the rod to put a cotter pin after the rod is put through the windshield frame ... |

My M38 is 12 volt...so not really worried about being 100 % authentic, especially when you can't see under the dash. Mine is a driver and parade vehicle, but definitely not an authentic historic model ... |
