How do you determine if a fuel tank you are looking at is the correct fit version or the older on that did not fit correctly? If the tank is the old one can you make it work? |

According to erik's post I have the newer style wax pellet thermostat from the parts house. It shows a bellows style thermostat which I pulled out of my jeep. The retainer came out in crumbles.
