Hi Dave,

Thanks for your reply.

I cleaned the tube with methylated spirits and I also found a really small hole as well. I expected a series of bigger holes as well.

I can't see any holes at in in the centre pipe.

Anyone know how the oil gets out of the filter?

I'd be grateful if someone could tell me how oil gets through from the inside of the oil filter, on a M38A1, down to the exit at the bottom of the centre mounting tube. The tube does not ...
