Well the carb has been re-built and is back in. Just need to change the oil yet and we'll see how it goes. thanks guys. |

So .... I removed the carburetor from my M38, and found the manifold to be completely full of gas - right to the brim. Anyone have any thoughts on that one?

Yep, the cushion holes are in the tube as they should be. These other holes appear to be original, precisely and accurately layed out. I was thinking they might have been for some sort of map pouch ... |

My '51 M38 driver seat frame has three small holes running across the top of the back rest, in the pan, not the tube. Does anyone know what those holes are for?
