Guys, I swapped another axle under the rear of my M38 and replaced the axle bearings.I can now get 60 mph down hill and 53-55 mph on the flat road. Test only however, thats cranking the old girl awful ... |

Check battery voltage thru both batteries in series, compare to readings aquired off the starter post.......If there the same ,charge the batteries. If a drop is noted. use you meter to test at every ... |

I am rebuilding my transfercase, tranny done already. The output shaft in the transfercase contains a bushing worn out long ago..... How on earth do you get the old bushing out to put the new one in?. ... |

OK now for a more a length answer. Clutch,pressureplate and release bearing are new. The tranny and transfer Ive left basically alone except for seals and fluids. I do agree 45-50 MPH is plenty. I not ... |
