I want to mount a spare tire on my M-100 trailer because I sometimes pull it with my pickup thus don't have the jeep spare if I need it.

What have anyone here done for this?

I took my springs apart on my M-100 trailer and cleaned them. It was a fun project.

M-100 springs are same as under M-38. I don't remember if it's the front or rear springs.

When you start to put it back together check the brake handle. I think your's is on backwards.

A down and dirty test; hook it up to 6 volt battery. 6 volts won't hurt a 12 volt starter, it also won't make it run.

A discussion on the CJ-3B Page a few years back concluded the right side was shorter to allow the exhaust pipe to exit the rear.
