I have a m38 that I restored, finished last year. Jeep has about 1000 miles traveled. I can send pictures if you are interested. Asking 13,500.

I have also had problems with Omix parts etc Crankshaft pulley, water pump, and transfer output flange just to name a few or the parts I have had trouble with.

I had engine rebuilt, also new radiator, water pump and thermostat . Engine has about 1,000 miles on it now. If I drive it slow 30-35 mph it does ok and if weather is cool it does ok. I ha ... |

I have a m38 that runs hot when driven above 45 or 50 MPH. Engine has been bored 0.80 thousand. I think this may be the problem. Has anyone else had this problem.

Check for a loose flywheel bolts, I had that problem on my M38 sounded like a rod knock.
