I am getting things cleaned up so i can assemble my motor. I noticed on the oil pickup there was a small hole in the top of it. the hole was not drilled it looks like it was made by a small punch. sh ... |

I have had low oil pressure problems and took the pump off finding out it is a non military pump, Are there any benefits to installing a military pump or rebuilding the civilian?

Thanks for the information Wes, Not having any luck with the spark plugs out method. Will have to track down a pressure pot. I did make copies of the repair manuals you recommended

My oil pump was leaking at the cover plate so I removed the plate drained cleaned and reinstalled the plate. Started the engine have no oil pressure.
Do I need to prime the pump? Where could I find o ... |

#10 does not have 24 volts. When you check it with a volt meter the needle moves showing some voltage but then goes down to zero |
