| ok - I took the starter to the rebuilder - and the pinion gear (i think that is the right term) has a threaded end that keeps it in place and prevents it from staying engaged to the flywheel. the nut ... |

My M38 will idle really rough if I haven't driven her for a while. After a few miles she then kicks right into full step - smooth as can be .
Any ideas as to waht could be causing this???? |
