Hi all,
I need your help to identify this part; the back look like a horn but it have 3 mounting tabs to mount it on a flat surface. It is military green with some navy blue overspray. The electric connector is of Douglass type. There is some no printed on the outer ring; SPW-C-6271 and 7731422.
Don't know, but it looks like a horn. Yet it doesn't have the opening on the front. You might take it a part to have a look on the inside, that might help you determine what it is if no one knows. _________________ Tropical Veteran

Hello Remi,
No that's not an M38 unit. The early M38 used a SPW-D2140A (spherical round back horn) ORD# 7351412 WO# 802839. The rest of the M38 and M38A1 horns were Auto-Lite, Thats a fairly early 24V Sparks/Worthington so I would look at the early post WWII 3/4 ton thru 5 tons. The much later M151's used a horn with two Douglas receptacles on it. _________________ Wes K
