Wes, I went to a hose and gasket vendor here to see if they had the flexable hose for the fording kit.
What they have is 2" air duct hose. It is the spiral wire frame with a thin black cloth wall. Cost about $3.70 per foot if I recall right.

The flexable hose in your kit appears to be a lot thicker like vacuum hose. What is it called? Is there a supplier in the US?

Ken

Joel Gopan had a number for the hose which was I believe a BF Goodrich #. There was a west coast supplier ID'd a year or so ago in a G503 thread. I'll have to do some digging. The hose you see in my kit came out of that sealed 1953 box direct from Willys. It has a heavy oil base impregnating coat on it. The air duct you've found is quite the modern day standard and does work.

Wes I saved a photo of the hose from your album to my computer so I could print it out. That way I can take it to the vendor and see if they can order that style.

I showed the photo to the local vendor. He doesn't know where to get it. So I'll call MWM.

Ken,
I think if you google a bit you'll find several alternatives for that duct. Here's one:

Here's their catalog:

Ok took me a while to find it but here is the manufacturer for the hose in the fording kit and also cross over tube. I got it from Joel Goplan.

Gates # 23634 2 1/8 in
