Any tips on getting the douglas connectors to go together?
It just seems like it takes an unreasonable amount of
force to get the shells to engage. I've resorted in a couple of
places to grinding the connector slightly and am using di-electric
grease. Any advice??

I don't know if it hurts anything or not but on my problem connectors, I put liquid soap on the rubber parts - problem solved - Sonny
