Is there a manual for the M38 carburator avilable for download. Have some to rebuild and looking for detailed manual to help.

you can if a member go to the downloads over on the left in the navigation box and you should see a manula for that carb...Is it a YS carter type? same as M38A1? it is there

Hi Rick I am not sure but I think that the carb for the M38 and M38A1 are both the same...?
You can look in the downloads section to the left on the web site here and look under M38 M38A1 there may be a manual there or try this site here okay?

The link I posted is for our web site's manual from our download page. The carbs are not the same. The M38 uses a YS637S and the M38A1/M170 use the YS950S. Larger throttle bore on the A1 and the carb inlets are oriented differently on each.
