It is pretty. It does have the big gun. It has an antenna but no radio. I suppose they plug the antenna into the gun and fire it remotely!
Accuracy??
-Front shackles incorrect.
-Antenna mount bracket is installed upside down.
-Grab handle on passenger side of windshield!
-Steering damper!
-Brush guards on headlights backwards.
-Very bad fit of left fender.
-Extra holes in grill and lower right corner bent.
-Markings totally inaccurate.
-Wrong tranny stick boot.
-Tailgate chains instead of bolts.
-Upper door canvas strips but no lowers.
-Wiring harness has a lot of modern plastic conduit.
-Wrong plug wires.
-Carb, air cleaner, oil filter and exhaust manifold wrong color.
-Wrong oil filter.
-Rear seat back lock tabs missing.
-Hand crank added on inside of tailgate.
-Unusual switches and etc on dash.
-Screws instead of rivets on the repop data plates.
-Incorrect machine gun pedestal.
-Exhaust incorrect.
-Rear axle brake line clamps missing.
-Rear brake line from master cyl back not inside frame rail.
-Wood reinforcement bar missing from front bumper.
Looks like 23070 Gillespie paint instead of USMC Forest Green. Also Marine stenciles were yellow. _________________ Wes K

Looks like from the keys in the dash that it's also a 12V system instead of the original 24V. Not sure if it has the pressurized fording system either.... |

Like the sign says, a real head-turner. But is that towards the jeep, or away from it? _________________ Owen

Is it just me, or do the pictures make it look like a really well built 1:6 model or similar... by the first picture, I'd expect it to show up on a pallet and be put in an office... |
