on an M38A1? I got 1" loops off Ebay, and they are too small _________________ 1952 M38A1

Seems like lots of sellers don't have a clue about the correct footman loop for the M38 & A1. After receiving WWII era footman loops from not one, but two big East Coast vendors, I received the correct loops from George Baxter at AJP in Levittown, PA. They are NOS, packed in March 1952....
