Hi all. Bought my M38 semi disassembled so need some help here. Where do the speedometer cable and wire from regulator to dash enter the fire wall? What is correct routing of e-brake cable after it exits the dash??? Thanks in advance!!!!

Firewall hole descriptions/photos are located in the downloads section at:

http://willysmjeeps.com/downloads/M38Firewall.2.pdf

Routing of the hand brake (emergency) cable follows the frame and is attatched by a couple of clips and then a spring at the end to keep tension when releasing.

Will see if I can dig up some photos.

hope this helps.

Rick,
Have you looked in our site's download section yet? There's an excellent firewall map there for both early and late M38's.

http://willysmjeeps.com/downloads/M38Firewall.2.pdf

You start by going thru the correct hole on the far left (driver's) side of the firewall then theres on clamp down low on the aft end of the left fender's inner skin then you courve back (staying of the left side of the engine) to the rear engine crossmember. Just avoid the cable rubbing on anything moving or hot. Then the photos tell the rest. The cable clamp (shiney bolt/nut) are an improvised clamp.

Rick,
You must be on one of those New England 16th century dialups with .01 KP's per second!
