Mine is 39 1/2" long.
That's from the end of the rod to the rim of the "push-disc". Before anyone says so, I know my jeep's an M38 but the steering column and associated innards are off an M38A1. Not sure of the difference between "early" and "late" steering setups for the M38A1. Can someone enlighten me?
If it helps, the box has TL122995 cast into it......

You may have to thread the rod a little more as some of the rods the threads are too short and the rubber cap doesn't seat correctly to cover the horn push and seal out the weather. I had to adjust mine several times to get it to seat and so the horn wouldn't stay on all the time! _________________ Headcase
