Here's an eBay auction for an electrical tester set, but don't know if it will work on the M38.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/110915182755?_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649&item=110915182755&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT&vxp=mtr#ht_500wt_1363

Any ideas?
Saturn Surplus says they no longer have their test kits.

Yes it will work on all M series wheeled vehicles up through about late 90's.

You can buy them under $75 at flea markets and some vendors so watch out for the idiot bidder!

The set I have is the same NSN number, marked for "24v waterproof electrical systems on wheeled vehicles". I'd say it's the right set for a M38. Just my 2 cents.

(oops... sorry, Wes... we were replying at the same time)
